1. What We Collect

When you use ViralOrbits, we collect the following types of information:

• Account information: Email address, display name, and hashed password (via Supabase Auth)
• Business profile data: Information you provide about your business (name, industry, goals, audience)
• Usage data: Features used, timestamps, and usage counts for billing purposes
• Generated content: AI-generated strategies and ideas saved to your account
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, device type (via standard server logs)

2. How We Use Your Data

We use collected data to:

• Provide and improve the Service
• Personalise AI-generated content based on your business profile
• Manage your account and enforce usage limits on free/paid plans
• Send important account notifications (never marketing without consent)
• Detect and prevent abuse, fraud, or security incidents

3. AI Processing

When you generate strategies or ideas, your business profile data is sent to Anthropic's Claude API to produce the output. Anthropic processes this data according to their Privacy Policy. We do not store your prompts beyond what is needed to return your result.

4. Data Storage

Your data is stored securely on Supabase (hosted on AWS). All data is encrypted at rest and in transit. We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

• Supabase — database and authentication infrastructure
• Anthropic — AI content generation (business profile data only)
• Payment processors — payment data for subscriptions (we never store card details)

6. Cookies

ViralOrbits uses only functional cookies required for authentication (Supabase session tokens). We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access a copy of all data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate personal data
• Request deletion of your account and all associated data
• Export your generated content and business profiles
• Withdraw consent for any optional data processing

8. Children's Privacy

ViralOrbits is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with data, please contact us immediately.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or via an in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
